District Description:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Interstate 12 and the centerline of the Tickfaw River, then proceed southerly to the centerline of a gravel road; then westerly to the centerline of Lobell Road; then northwesterly to the centerline of a gravel road; then westerly to the centerline of a gas/oil pipeline; then southwesterly to the centerline of Gum Swamp Road; then southerly to the centerline of LA Hwy. 444 to the centerline of Bayou Barbary; then southerly to the centerline of the Amite River; then southwesterly to the centerline of Garyville Hwy.; then southerly to the centerline of Old Garyville Railroad Grade; then southeasterly to the centerline of the Amite River; then westerly to the corporate limits of the Village of French Settlement; then westerly along the corporate limits to the Amite River, the western parish boundary; then northwesterly to the centerline of an oil/gas pipeline; then northeasterly to the centerline of LA Hwy. 447 (Walker South Road); then northerly to the centerline of Hammack Road; then westerly to the centerline of West Colyell Creek; then northwesterly to the centerline of a tributary of West Colyell Creek and continuing northwesterly to the centerline of John L. Lane Road; then northerly to the centerline of Buddy Ellis Road; then westerly to the centerline of Juban Road; then northerly to the centerline of Interstate 12; then easterly around the southern corporate limits of the City of Walker and continuing on Interstate 12 to the point of beginning. [Note: This District includes the corporate limits of the Village of Port Vincent and the Village of French Settlement.
