Jimmie McCoy is the Councilman for District 2 in Livingston Parish. He is married to Marcey McCoy and is the father of three sons, Jeremy, Josh and Jimmie, Jr. and stepdaughter, Amy. He has three grandchildren, Alexis, Brett, and Branson. Councilman McCoy is retired and worked as the Livingston Parish Supervisor of the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and is also accomplished as an award winning Wildlife Agent. He has served as president of the Livingston Parish Recreation District 2 for nine years and is former board member of Livingston Parish Drainage District 2, former member of the Board of Directors of Live Oak Sports Association, lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, lifetime member of Buck Masters, lifetime member of the Wild Turkey Federation and member of the Republican party.

Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Spillers Creek and the Livingston Parish/St. Helena Parish boundary, then proceed southwesterly along the centerline of Spillers Creek to its intersection with the centerline of Sims Road; then easterly to the centerline of West Colyell Creek; then southerly to the centerline of LA Hwy. 1025; then westerly to the centerline of LA. Hwy. 16; then northerly to the centerline of Amite Church Road; then westerly to the centerline of LA Hwy. 1019; then southerly to the centerline of LA Hwy. 64; then westerly to the centerline of the Amite River; then northerly to the Livingston Parish/St. Helena Parish boundary; then easterly to the point of beginning.
