SEWERAGE DISTRICT NO. 4

Sec. 17-94. Created. 

Pursuant to the authority conferred by R.S. 33:3881 et seq. there is hereby created a sewerage district within the parish, comprising and embracing all of that territory within the following described boundaries, located in Sections 26, 27, 33, 34, 35 and 36, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; and Sections 1 and 2, Township 7 South, Range 3 East, G. L. D., Parish of Livingston, Louisiana, to wit: Commencing at the intersection of the south line of the Illinois Central Railroad right-of-way and the east line of Section 26, Township 6 South, Range 3 East, G. L. D., Parish of Livingston, Louisiana; thence westerly along the south line of said railroad right-of-way for approximately 8,500 feet to the centerline of West Colyell Creek; thence southeasterly along the centerline of said creek for approximately 900 feet to the centerline of Louisiana Highway 1027; thence in a southwesterly direction along the centerline of Louisiana Highway 1027 for approximately 1,600 feet to the intersection of Louisiana Highway 1026; thence continuing southwesterly along the centerline of Louisiana Highway 1026 for approximately 2,450 feet to the centerline of U.S. Highway 190; thence south for 500 feet; thence in an easterly direction parallel and 500 feet south of U.S. Highway 190 for approximately 4,000 feet to the centerline of West Colyell Creek; thence in a southerly direction along the centerline of said creek for approximately 3,700 feet to the south line of Section 34, Township 6 South, Range 3 East, and the township line between Township 6 South and Township 7 South; thence east for approximately 4,500 feet to a point which is approximately 600 feet west of Pendarvis Road; thence in a southeasterly direction parallel and 500 feet south of the centerline of parish asphalt road (Pendarvis Road) for approximately 2,800 feet to the west line of Section 1, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence south along said section line to the north line of Interstate Highway 12, thence easterly along said north right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 12 for approximately 2,800 feet to the centerline of Louisiana Highway 447; thence northerly along the centerline of Louisiana Highway 447 for approximately 4,400 feet to the Town of Walker corporate limits line, same point being the northeast corner of the southwest 1/4 of Section 36, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence west along said corporate limits line for approximately 2,750 feet; thence north along said corporate limits line and west line of Sections 36 and 35, Township 6 South, Range 3 East for approximately 4,800 feet back to the point of commencement.
