SEWERAGE DISTRICT NO. 3

Sec. 17-80. Created. 

Pursuant to the authority conferred by R.S. 33:3881 et seq. there is hereby created a sewerage district within the parish, comprising and embracing all of that territory within the following described boundaries, located in Section 36, Township 7 South, Range 6 East; Section 31, Township 7 South, Range 7 East; Sections 1 and 37, Township 8 South, Range 6 East; and Sections 6 and 37, Township 8 South, Range 7 East, Greensburg Land District, Parish of Livingston, Louisiana, to wit: Commencing at the southwest corner of Section 31, Township 7 South, Range 7 East, G.L.D., Livingston Parish, Louisiana; thence proceed east for approximately 1,400 feet to a point which is 500 feet east of the centerline of Louisiana 22 and point of beginning; thence east for 2,600 feet; thence south for 1,000 feet; thence west for approximately 3,000 feet to a point which is 500 feet east of centerline of Louisiana 22; thence in a southwesterly direction parallel and 500 feet from centerline of Louisiana 22 for 2,200 feet; thence north 70 degrees west for approximately 2,200 feet to the east bank of the Tickfaw River; thence meandering along said bank of the Tickfaw River for approximately 3,200 feet; thence north for 1,000 feet; thence east for 4,000 feet to a point 500 feet east of the centerline of Louisiana 22; thence in a southwesterly direction and parallel to the centerline of Louisiana 22 for approximately 1,600 feet back to the point of beginning. A community commonly known as Warsaw Landing is located within the herein described boundary.
