SEWERAGE DISTRICT NO. 2

Sec. 17-66. Created. 

Pursuant to the authority conferred by Sub-Part A of Part 1 of Chapter 9 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, and other applicable laws, there is hereby amended the boundary of Sewer District No. 2 within the Parish of Livingston, State of Louisiana, comprising and embracing all of that territory within the following described boundaries, to wit: 

Commencing at a point where the Livingston Parish and St. Helena Parish line intersects the centerline of the Amite River; thence, east along the said parish line to the northeast corner of Section 1, Township 5 South, Range 4 East; thence, south along the section line to the southeast corner of Section 1, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; thence, west along the section line to the southwest corner of Section 4, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; thence, south along the section line to the southeast corner of Section 8, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; thence, west along the section line to the southwest corner of Section 7, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; thence, north along the section line to the northwest corner of said Section 7, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; thence, west along the section line to the northwest corner of Section 9, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; thence, south along the section line to the northeast corner of Section 20, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, west along the section line to the northwest corner of said Section 20, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, north along the section line to the northeast corner of Section 41, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, west along the section line to the centerline of Colton Creek; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the said centerline of said Colton Creek to the intersection of said Colton Creek with the north line of Section 43, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, east along the section line to the northeast corner of said Section 43; thence, south along the section line to intersect the northern boundary of the corporate limits of Denham Springs; thence, in a counterclockwise direction along the said corporate limit boundary to a point being the intersection of the northern line of Section 59, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, and the centerline of the Amite River; thence, in a northerly direction along the centerline of the meanderings of the Amite River to the point of commencement.
