SEWERAGE DISTRICT NO. 1

Sec. 17-52. Created. 

Pursuant to the authority conferred by Sub-Part A of Part I of Chapter 9 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, and other applicable laws, there is hereby amended the boundary of Sewer District No. 1 within the Parish of Livingston, State of Louisiana, comprising and embracing all of that territory within the following described boundaries, to wit: 

Commencing at the northwest corner of Section 9, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence east along the section line to the northwest corner of Section 7, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; thence, south along the section line to the southeast corner of Section 24, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, west along the section line to the southwest corner of said Section 24 also being along the north Corporate Boundary of Walker; thence, south along the projection of the said Section 24 to a point where the northern right-of-way line of the Canadian Northern Railroad (formerly Illinois Central Gulf Railroad) intersects the said projected Section line; thence, proceed in a westerly direction along the said northern right-of-way of said railroad to the east bank of West Colyell Creek; thence, proceed in a southerly direction along the said easterly bank of said West Colyell Creek, to a point of intersection with the centerline of Buddy Ellis Road; thence, east along the centerline of said Buddy Ellis Road to the intersection of the centerline of Louisiana Highway 447, (Walker South); thence, south along the centerline of said Louisiana Highway 447 to the intersection of the centerline of Joe May Road; thence, southwest to the intersection of the south line of Section 13, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence, west along said Section line to the northeast corner of the northwest 1/4 of Section 22, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence, south along said 1/4 section line to the southeast corner of the northwest 1/4 of Section 22, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence, west along the 1/4 section line to the southwest corner of the northeast 1/4 of Section 21, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence, north along said 1/4 section line to the northwest corner of the northeast 1/4 of Section 21, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence, west to the southwest corner of Section 39, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence north along the section line to the northwest corner of said Section; thence, west along the section line to the southwest corner of Section 5, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence, north along the section line to the northeast corner of Section 37, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence, west along said section line to the southeast corner of Section 6, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence, north along said section line to the southwest corner of Section 32, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, east along the section line to the southeast corner of said Section 32, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, north along the section line to the northeast corner of Section 45, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, westerly along the section line to the intersection of said section line with the eastern boundary of the corporate limits of Denham Springs; thence, along the said corporate limit boundary in a counterclockwise direction to the southwest corner of Section 19, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, north along said section line to the northeast corner of Section 43, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, west along said section line to the intersection of said section line with the centerline of Colton Creek; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the centerline of said Colton Creek to the intersection of said centerline of Colton Creek with the north line of Section 41, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, in an easterly direction along the north line of said Section 41 to the northeast corner of said Section 41, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, in a due south direction along the east line of said Section 41, to the northwest corner of Section 20, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, in an easterly direction along the north line of said Section 20, to the northeast corner of said Section 20, said corner also being the southeast corner of Section 17, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence, north along the east line of said section line to the northwest corner of Section 9, Township 6 South, Range 3 East and the same corner being the point of commencement.
