RECREATION DISTRICT NO. 6

Sec. 12-103. Generally. 

By virtue of the authority conferred by Chapter 11 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, there be and there is hereby created a recreation district within the Parish of Livingston, State of Louisiana, comprising and embracing all of that territory within the following described boundaries, to wit: Commencing at the point of intersection of the center line of the Tickfaw River with the southern boundary of St. Helena Parish, proceed in a southerly direction along the meandering center line of the Tickfaw River to southwest corner of Section 44, Township 5 South, Range 5 East; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of Section 44, Township 5 South, Range 5 East, and southern boundaries of Sections 45 and 31, Township 5 South, Range 6 East to southwest corner of Section 32, Township 5 South, Range 6 East; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 5, 8, 17, 20, 29 and 32, Township 6 South, Range 6 East, and western boundary of Section 5, Township 7 South, Range 6 East to southwest corner of Section 5, Township 7 South, Range 6 East (the same being the southern boundary of School District 24); thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of Sections 5, 4, 3, and 2 to point of intersection with western boundary of Section 51, Township 7 South, Range 6 East; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of Section 51, Township 7 South, Range 6 East to intersection with center line of Natalbany River; thence in a northerly direction along the boundary between Livingston and Tangipahoa Parishes to point of intersection with the boundary between Livingston and St. Helena Parishes; thence in a westerly direction along the boundary between Livingston and St. Helena Parishes back to point of beginning.
