FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 2

Sec. 6-40. Boundaries. 

Fire Protection District No. 2 shall contain within its boundaries the following described territory, to wit: All that area formerly known as Ward Six (6) of the parish and now constituting a part of Ward Four (4) and the corporate limits of the Town of Springfield.

Editor's note: An ordinance adopted July 8, 1986, amended the boundary of Fire Protection District No. 2 to include "all that territory within the corporate limits of Killian." Said ordinance did not specifically amend the Code. A motion adopted Aug. 9, 1988, not specifically amendatory of the Code, extended the boundaries of Fire Protection District No. 2 to include the unincorporated area of old Ward 10.
