GRAVITY DRAINAGE DISTRICT NO. 5

Sec. 14-174. Boundaries.

The boundaries of said Gravity Drainage District No. 5 of Livingston Parish, Louisiana are hereby fixed as follows, to wit: 

Commencing at a point which is the intersection of the centerline 1-12 Interstate Highway and the centerline of Hornsby Creek; thence proceed in a southerly direction along the centerline of said creek to the centerline of Colyell Creek; thence along said centerline in a southerly direction to the north line of Section 22, Township 7 South, Range 4 East; thence in a western direction along the north line of Sections 22, 21, 20 and 39, Township 7 South, Range 4 East; thence west along the south line of Sections 13 and 14, Township 7 South, Range 3 East to the southwest corner of Section 14, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence north along the west line of Section 14 to its northwest corner; thence west along the south line of Section 10, Township 7 South, Range 3 East; thence north along the west line of Section 10, to its intersection with the centerline of the Buddy Ellis Road; thence west along said centerline of the Buddy Ellis Road to a line which runs south from the intersection of the south line of Section 16, township 6 South, Range 3 East and the projection of the centerline of Dunn Road; thence north along said line to the intersection of the south line of Section 16, Township 6 South, Range 3 East and the projection of the centerline of Dunn Road; thence north along the centerline of said Dunn Road to its intersection with Arnold Road (State Hwy 1025); and thence north to the south line of Section 4, Township 6 South, Range 3 East; thence in an eastern direction along the south line of sections 4, 3, and 2, Township 6 South Range 3 East, to the intersection of the south line of section 2 with the centerline of West Colyell Creek; thence in a northern direction along the centerline of West Colyell Creek to the centerline of Cane Market Road; thence in an eastern direction along the centerline of Cane Market Road to the centerline of Middle Colyell Creek; thence in a southern direction along said centerline to the north line of Section 19, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; thence east along the north line of Sections 19 and 20, Township 6 South, Range 4 East; to a line which is 300 feet east of and parallel to State Highway 449 (North Corbin Road); thence along said line in a southerly direction to its intersection with the centerline of U.S. Highway 190; thence in a westerly direction along said centerline to a projection of the east corporate limits of the Town of Walker; thence in a southerly direction along said line to the southeast corner to the Town of Walker, thence east along the southern line of the Town of Walker to the centerline of Middle Colyell Creek; thence in a southern direction along said centerline to the centerline of 1-12 Interstate Highway; thence in a easterly direction along said centerline to its intersection with Hornsby Creek and point of beginning.
